The Lancashire Scratch League
This page is dedicated to the Fylde Scratch Team, represented by the best golfers from around the Fylde. The team has enjoyed mixed success – the most recent highlight being crowned Lancashire Scratch League Champions in 2008 by defeating Manchester after losing out in the final the year before. The 2010 fixtures did not go to plan as Fylde drew their opener but lost the match against Southport and despite winning the last game against Preston failed to qualify for the final, a statistic which we will need to put right this year.
The Fylde have 1 home match this season, the first will be tie against Southport DGA on May 27th at Fleetwood. The team then face North Lancs at Heysham on 17th June and finally Preston DGA at Chorley on Thurs 7th July. The team for the Southport match is still currently being finalised and will be announced shortly as soon as the remaining squad members have confirmed their availability to play. All those selected please make every effort to play and if we get our strongest side out each match, we will be tough to beat this season.
