THE LEAGUES MVP (Most Valuable Player)

2010 MVP – Charles Durnian (Fairhaven)

The League MVP is designed to be a bit of fun as we go through the season, nothing has been agreed at AGM level on this subject and it is included only to see who scores the most points over the course of the season. This year I have included the KO rounds as well and this will further show who has deserved the Leagues ‘Unofficial’ Most Valued Player bragging rights. The 2009 winner of this award (albeit last year only the scores from the league matches were used) was Scott Gowland from North Shore, winning all but one match the entire season.

Points are earned by winning your matches; a player will get 4- points for an away win, 3-points for a Home win, 2-points for an Away draw and 1-Point for a Home draw. Best of luck to all and as I said, it is entirely meant as a bit of fun!

The next update will appear when the match between Knott End & Blackpool Park has been played, but won’t trouble the outcome of this years’ MVP – CHARLES DURNIAN (Farihaven). You can see the final League MVP table (After week 7) by Clicking Here
